I tend to frequent this restaurant and bar inside the spacious and oh so fabulous Crystals Mall inside the City Center. It makes a perfect stop after a day of shopping or walking around Las Vegas Boulevard. And if your into sports; come eat, drink and watch from the TV’s displayed throughout the restaurant. It’s also in a perfect location one floor just above the valet and across from SHE, a Morton’s restaurant, which is also a great dining experience as well. Can’t forget to mention I come across Todd English from time to time at food festivals and nightclub outings. He’s a fun and vibrant guy which makes his brand an even more respectable household name.
Todd English, a renowned chef, restaurateur, author and television star based in Boston, Massachusetts and New York opened his first restaurant in 1989. Since then his business gained national and international acclaim for the rustic Mediterranean cuisine, and it soon made its way to Las Vegas at Crystals. The P.U.B has everything you need in a traditional hang out bar such as a full menu with traditional comfort foods, an assortment of prime meats, a raw bar, a selection of over 30 beers on tap and from all over the world as well as cask beer, which is traditional beer served from a wooden barrel. Not too mention the kitchen has never failed to prepare the most tasteful dishes that come in decent to large portions. My favorite is the tuna burger, it’s more than what you ask for but at least it’s filling and worth the money!
The Wynn’s Parasol Up – Parasol Down Lounge makes for a great meeting spot if your already in the property. It’s spacious enough to accommodate a large group of guests and in close proximity to the hottest top tier venue, XS nightclub. I always find myself in awe walking through Wynn, the designs and decor is always immaculate not to mention this elegant venue has a spectacular view of the “Lake of Dreams” which has a stunning waterfall and a beautiful man-made oasis just outside the lounge. Parasol Up is settled a few steps from the casino floor and Parasol Down is just below it from the escalator on the level of the majestic oasis. Both bars offer a large selection of vegan specialty drinks and sake infused cocktails. On top of being at one of the nation’s top destinations, the bar has a great ambiance of bright reds, purples and yellows gushing from the casino floor and flashy spinning parasols dangling from the ceiling. Around the corner from Parasol is Tryst nightclub, which makes being at the bar and lounge the perfect quick stop before an exhilarating night of music and dance.
My Lakeside View below from the balcony just outside… It’s a wonderful spectacle!…
This place makes a nice stop for after work cocktails. It’s a beautiful bar to be at anyway, right at the west lobby near the valet and in sight of the huge columns displaying customized digital experiences developed by the Rockwell Group.
The Vesper Bar, located inside the Cosmopolitan Resort, is a modest and extravagant oasis away from the boisterous casino floor. Its shimmery ambiance attracts even the most discerning onlookers and entices them into a journey of crafted signature cocktails from their exceptional mixologist who possess fine skills and passion in concocting classic recipes that’ll take you back to an era of style and grace.
The drink menu begins with “The Vesper,” a cocktail named after one of James Bond’s short lived paramour. Other than offering the perfect drinks from an extensive menu of long-forgotten recipes or even creating a custom cocktail, the space is inspired by 1950’s past entwined with an upscale contemporary environment suited for sophisticated and glamorous patrons.
